Yes odd he would communicate silently/privately with his lawyer, in court..

To what end is this some sort of anything to be made a point of?

Outside The Courtroom Reaction To George Zimmerman's Verdict
George Zimmerman has been acquitted of all charges in the February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla. Seems that many people are not happy with the decision.

One question comes to mind also is when did he get the item/s in question? I would think the officers do a search prior to transport or entry in the courts for foreign objects. So if in fact an item of questionable means why was it not found before going to court? Perhaps the Lawyer some how gave this to him after he entered the court room. So more investigating of the footage may be needed. I did notice the pass when watching live. Thanks for posting.

The only logical thing it could have been would be a detonator.
