Found a local Ghost Hunter...

Looking into this guy, Jason Profit, he lives near me. I "friended" him on Facebook - would like to talk to him a bit, but he seems to at least know all the tools of the trade, and I'd drop $80 on his course to get my feet wet and maybe open some doors to a couple of in town investigations.

Sounds cool, and hell you never know. Certainly look forward to updates on this.

He hasn't accepted my friend request yet. He probably saw it and is thinking, "a guy named cosmic circle with a pink shirt, must be some stalker fag".

Lol Been trying to think how to best "contribute" material to the Group, and in many ways I like viewing the application of the scientific method to a Disturbance of some sort, having happening. In not only being able to link explainable phenomenon. Also Phenomenon that is unexplained but supported in details with measurable evidence, or forces at work, that support the observation of such disturbances. Also I have been looking at local (state) listing of "Haunted" locations. All venues generally need some agreement for holding an investigation, or are private residences or ownership. Aspects of reality are hardly explained in full, and subject to change as new methods of observation and evidence of data become more available. It is difficult to find videos that are not photo trickery or editing. Lot of locations have taken up the advertising gimmick of having a "haunting". In my local area my uncle in the late 80s had a encounter with ghosts at an old theater named Thalian hall, it was built in 1858. I remember him talking about it, then there was an article in the local paper, and eventually some anthropologist came in to look over bones he found while working in the crawl space. He was working on construction there, and worked late after the theater was close. He ended up discovering an Indian burial ground that the theater was built on, he found the skeletons, I remember he also talked of seeing a woman in early 1900s dress in the building, when it was closed. Thalian hall openly advertises its haunting, and mentions the investigations that have taken place in 88 and 10 There are a few other local locations that wear that "Haunted" moniker. The Battleship North Carolina, is another one of those locations, more well known. Taps filmed a show there, as have other investigations taken place. Another is The Cotton Exchange, There are a lot of locations in the general area, but too, all over the state. Will post some info as i can.

Interesting. Did your uncle tell you what happened? I started writing a response but I will start another thread as it was long and I documented some pretty cool things.
