Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

February 13, 2012 - Airport police say they have evacuated most of Amsterdam's hectic Schiphol Airport right after acquiring a bomb threat.

Spokesman Martijn Beelen claims two departure halls have been evacuated and police are looking into the risk that was acquired Monday morning hours.

It was not quickly distinct if the menace had triggered planes to be diverted.

Schiphol is one of Europe's busiest aviation hubs.
