At the UN: Ahmadinejad says Israel will be eliminated
Ahmadinejad also said he did not take seriously the threat that Israel could launch a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, denied sending arms to Syria, and alluded to Iran's threats to the life of British author Salman Rushdie.
The United States quickly dismissed the Iranian president's comments as "disgusting, offensive and outrageous."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hinted Israel could strike Iran's nuclear sites and criticized U.S. President Barack Obama's position that sanctions and diplomacy should be given more time to stop Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Iran denies it is seeking nuclear arms and says its atomic work is peaceful and aimed at generating electricity.
"Fundamentally we do not take seriously the threats of the Zionists," Ahmadinejad, in New York for this week's U.N. General Assembly, told reporters. "We have all the defensive means at our disposal and we are ready to defend ourselves."
Ahmadinejad is due to speak at the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met Ahmadinejad on Sunday and warned him of the dangers of incendiary rhetoric in the Middle East.

Honestly I love everyone. Seriously when I think of how manipulated we all are in this carefully constructed labyrinth with billions of dollars dumped into the media which is by far a very successful way of manipulating the masses I always feel saddened by the results from which we all turn out as. I will say this and not to offend anyone but it is time to open OUR OWN EYES and utilized logic and common sense and make our own determinations based on what we perceive through evidence and governmental behavioral patters such as arresting people for protesting. I can not fatham the thought of our freedoms being taken away with each incident that occurs. Israel is not really our friends and they care not what happens on our soil. they only care about their own interests and truth be told they don't belong on that part of the region because as a fact historically the state of israel was created in 1948 so there you have it. bullshit from the start. secondly the original inhabitants of that land from which is now called Israel were actually arabs. so enough of being fed bullshit by the israelis and now it is time for truth. if truth means the israelis are in the right then i back them fully. but evidence and countless intelligence files state otherwise.... their involvemnt in 9/11 and other anomolies i call them only tell us all one thing. Wake the fuck up and know what is truth from fiction.
