North shelled South Korea's island with vacuum bombs

June 14, 2011 - They believe the attack had been plotted beforehand. The professionals are now analyzing some 20 unexploded shells.

Two civilians and two marines have been killed and 18 civilians hurt in the course of the North Korean shelling of a South Korean island. Dozens of houses have been damaged, forcing the locals to flee.
