Space Agency: Phobos Is Artificial?!
Phobos first believed artificial by famous astrophysicist
Astrophysicist Dr. Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky first calculated the orbital motion of the Martian satellite Phobos. He came to the inescapable conclusion that the moon is artificial and hollow‚Äďbasically a titanic spaceship.
The Russian astronomer, Dr. Cherman Struve, spent months calculating the two Martian moons’ orbits with extreme accuracy during the early 20th Century. Studying the astronomer’s notes, Shklovsky realized as the years progressed into decades Phobos’s orbital velocity and position no longer matched Struve’s mathematically predicted position.
After lengthy study of the tidal, gravitic, and magnetic forces, Shklovsky came to the firm conclusion that no natural causes could account for the origins of the two odd moons or their bizarre behavior, particularly that exhibited by Phobos.
The moons were artificial. Someone or something built them.
ESA study declares Phobos not natural
The ESA study abstract that appeared in the peer-reviewed Geophysical Research Letters reveals that Phobos is not what many astrophysicists and astronomers believed for generations: a captured asteroid.
‚ÄúWe report independent results from two subgroups of the Mars Express Radio Science (MaRS) team who independently analyzed Mars Express (MEX) radio tracking data for the purpose of determining consistently the gravitational attraction of the moon Phobos on the MEX spacecraft, and hence the mass of Phobos. New values for the gravitational parameter (GM=0.7127 ¬Ī 0.0021 x 10-¬≥ km¬≥/s¬≤) and density of Phobos (1876 ¬Ī 20 kg/m¬≥) provide meaningful new constraints on the corresponding range of the body‚Äôs porosity (30% ¬Ī 5%), provide a basis for improved interpretation of the internal structure. We conclude that the interior of Phobos likely contains large voids. When applied to various hypotheses bearing on the origin of Phobos, these results are inconsistent with the proposition that Phobos is a captured asteroid.‚ÄĚ
Casey Kazan writes in ESA: Mars Moon Phobos ‚ÄėArtificial,‚Äô that ‚Äú‚Ķthe official ESA Phobos website contained explicit scientific data, from multiple perspectives, which strongly ‚Äėsupported the idea that this is what radar echoes would look like, coming back from inside ‚Äėa huge‚Ķgeometric‚Ķ hollow spaceship‚Äô. In fact, they were the primary source of the decidedly ‚Äėinternal, 3-D geometric-looking‚Äô radar signature. The concurrence of all three of these independent Mars Express experiments- ‚Äėimaging,‚Äô ‚Äėinternal mass distribution,‚Äô (tracking) and ‚Äėinternal radar imaging‚Äô now agreed that ‚Äėthe interior of Phobos‚Äô is partially hollow with internal, geometric ‚Äėvoids‚Äô inside it.‚Äô Meaning that Phobos is artificial.‚ÄĚ
In other words, phobos is not a natural satellite, is not a ‚Äúcaptured asteroid,‚ÄĚ and is hollow. This is exactly what Dr. Shklovsky found back in the 1960s.
Phobos was artificially constructed and placed into Martian orbit by…what?
Phobos: what is it?
Data reveals Phobos is not natural. As of now there isn’t enough information to discover exactly what the Martian moon is, but there are several intriguing possibilities.
1. It’s a gigantic spaceship possibly built as an orbiting station or space observatory.
2. It’s a generation starship that arrived from another star system and was placed in parking orbit around Mars.
3. It was being built in Mars orbit for insterstellar travel but was never completed.
A fourth possibility is more ominous and deeply disturbing.
4. It is a functional (or non-functional) gargantuan planet-killing space bomb, perhaps left over from some interplanetary space conflict millions of years in the past. (Some researchers are actually proposing this hypothesis.)
Alien ship, superbomb, or uncompleted project?
Whatever Phobos actually is its origin and purpose are completely unknown.

Provide a reliable source? Cos I could only find this article on sensationalist tabloids...

i believe it is nothing more than a giant alien turd left over from when they flew by and dumped on mars from there alien craft.

There are two more, equally valid theories as to what Phobos is and it's origin.
1) Phobos was part of the asteroid belt, it was retrieved towed to Mars orbit, had airlocks and other equipment fitted and was being actively mined from the inside out, for precious minerals and such, that may have been absent or in limited quantities on Mars itself.
To capture, relocate and mine an asteroid (as we ourselves are talking about on Earth now) the best way to mine something that could take decades to complete, is from the inside...not standing on the surface and drilling down.
Inside is sealed...no bulky space suits required, atmosphere could be created inside, with heat and light and other life requirements that would be impossible or very difficult and expensive to achieve on the surface.
Either the Mars civilisation went extinct before Phobos was completely mined out, or they were only interested in a specific mineral, which was located in only a third of the mass, which they mined out.
2) Phobos was born on Mars...or specifically INSIDE Mars.
Olympus Mons, the largest volcano in the entire Solar System may have at one time in the remote past, thrown up Phobos (and deimos) during a maga eruption early in Olympus Mon's life.
This could possibly account for the linear grooves that run the length of Phobos and have baffled science as to their origin.
The grooves could have been made if the caldera on the volcano, and the huge subsurface, partially molton chunk of rock that would become Phobos, were of a similar size...Phobos would have had a difficult birth, squeezing out through a jagged, boulder and rock encrusted volcano opening which would have left the strange grooves all along the length of Phobos as we see them today, as the colder and harder surface rocks gouged, dragged and scraped at the still soft and hot rock being forced up through them.
The voids or spaces inside of Phobos are also explained by the 'volcano birth of Phobos' theory...these were formed while Phobos was still under the volcano, in the caldera underneath, just before the mega eruption of Olympus Mons, hot volcanic gases would be like huge air bubbles in hot, wet toffee. The gas could have permeated the huge chunk of molten rock while under the Martian surface, and became trapped inside when exposed to the Martian atmosphere and solidified, forming great hollows inside Phobos.
The whole moon, which is only about 10-12 miles long could have been launched into orbit from the volcano, like a cork in a champagne bottle rockets into the air with the gas pressure beneath it.
It's the closest orbiting moon of any other found so far, and the orbit is slowly degrading, which adds support to the volcano birth theory too.
Who knows...maybe it is actually what R. Hoagland and others think it might be...a huge spacecraft or an 'ark' of some kind.
Maybe the Martians knew their times was almost up and built it to protect all of their history, art, science, knowledge, DNA samples from it's populations and flora and fauna, and maybe...even preserved Martians themselves.
