This isn't new! Miners in Great Britain, for example, have found bits of jewelry, pottery and other artifacts, buried hundreds of feet underground, while digging coal. Quite a few artifacts have been found in California, by gold miners, starting in 1849, when the big gold rush began. The reason so many people aren't aware of these facts, is because these anomalies don't fit into the scientific community's beliefs about the history of Terra. Since these artifacts don't fit into their belief system, the assumption is these are either hoaxes or someone is mistaken. The modern scientific community is VERY CONSERVATIVE, and are often the last ones to endorse new beliefs. One only needs to view its opinions of such topics as UFOs, Rods, and the possibility of other civilizations in our solar system. Look at things such as ESP and Chiropractic health care. These have only recently been excepted by mainstream science. Michael Cremo has been studying these anomalies for many years and he has called his study "Forbidden Archeology." I think a lot of us are aware, that all our beliefs and assumptions are in for a BIG shaking up in the next few years or decade! Just found the time to do a little research. The speakers name is Doug Newton, he is at: the Creation Seminar, Puyallup,WA 2008.
