The stunning image of a UFO was captured on video last week, but is it an alien craft, or is there a simpler explanation? Anthony Piceno, of American Fork, Utah, said he was drawn to the sight in the air because it was like nothing he had ever seen before. The video shows the blue craft resembling a spinning top floating in the sky and moving very slowly. Mr Piceno said: 'I looked up in the sky and, you know, it was just a different object, it was neon blue, red flashing lights'. He watched the object floating in the sky for a few minutes, observing how it was 'just cruising slow' in the sky. But as with any UFO sighting, there are skeptics, who have their own ideas about what the flying object really was. A large ball of fire streaking across the night time skies just after midnight had many people in Utah wondering what they saw early Wednesday morning. Dozens of calls came with people wondering if they saw a shooting star, others wondered if it was the end of the world, military testing, or even a UFO. People from Mona to Spanish Fork from Ogden to Bountiful all calling in a very similar sighting More... To many, it looked like a large fall of fire, lightning up the sky, some say like daylight, others reported a blue like light that lasted for about 30 seconds. They are already making mention of the Pacific Northwest getting the current snow storm.. however further west.. out over Hawaii right now.. we see the tail edge of the large low pressure system still well to the west off the coast of California. This very large powerful system may be coming to the US... hard to tell if it will pull north over Canada.. but it looks (right now 11am CST 1/17/2012) like it will stay a bit south.. bringing some severe weather to the South Central California coast before coming ashore. and pushing through north America. Recap = first storm coming ashore now.. winter weather warnings issued from the Pacific Northwest east through Montana... south through Utah.
