The American dream and seeking freedom has always been in place, and the idea of spreading freedom has been ideal. It's happening in Britain and all across the world, but in trying to force freedom it's actually led to war and created stronger clashes in the social system and an increasing divide between economic classes. This idea is very interesting to me. I'm American and can't comment on the British system, but America has very set rules as to what "freedom" is. Of course, I think these rules have been set for decades and aren't anything new; the Norman Rockwell lifestyle has been long sought after.
