Evidence Half A Million In US Government Money Funded The Ukranian Coup

In 2012 the Ukrainian military overthrew the government and established a new order in what is known as a military "coup". A coup is a common method to shift power away from dictators when the people become so unhappy that even the military is willing to revolt. The true shock of this story comes however from the newly discovered documents that show that the US government may have been sending money over to the Ukrainian military to fund the coup that would see the current President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, dethroned. To understand how the American government did this, we need to break down where the funding of the coup came from. Pierre Omidya is the owner of Kyic Post and a nation security blog Intercept, one of the last people you would expect to be funding the coup in Ukraine. The mentioned nation security themed blog Intercept is the key to how the US was able to sneak money to the Ukranian coup, however, by means of the blog being co-owned by the US government. Finally, another side business that Pierre is involved in is a business called Center UA. Center UA received more than $500,000 in 2012, according to its annual report for that year, 54 percent of which came from Pact Inc, a project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. Nearly 36 percent came from eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and his wife. While some other big name donors include the International Renaissance Foundation, whose key funder is billionaire George Soros, and National Endowment for Democracy who finds himself at the center of many conspiracy theories due to his immense wealth and power. While countries secretly sending funds to the rebels and enemies of other countries in order to overthrow them is not uncommon, it is getting harder and harder to hide it in the age of technology and whistle blowers. While the thought that went behind the funding is going always to be known only to the key funders, there is no denying that because of a project funded by the US about half a million dollars wound up in the pockets of a company that was key in overthrowing the reigning Ukrainian president.
