House Democrats release Epstein emails that mention Trump
Emails released by House Democrats reveal Jeffrey Epstein referred to Donald Trump as the “dog that hasn't barked” and mentioned a victim who allegedly spent hours with Trump at his home. Epstein wrote to Ghislaine Maxwell in April 2011, questioning why Trump was not discussed.
The documents are part of over 23,000 records received from the Epstein Estate. None of the files indicate any wrongdoing by Trump.
Republicans allege that Democrats are misusing the information, stating they redacted Virginia Giuffre's name even though she said Trump did nothing wrong.
The ongoing investigation seeks to compel the Department of Justice to release more files about Epstein. Additionally, Trump's relationship with Epstein continues to draw scrutiny amidst accusations of selective leaks by Democrats.
