SUMMARY

Iran plans to launch a satellite aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket on July 25, 2025, from Vostochny Cosmodrome.

The launch is scheduled for 09:54 a.m. Iran time.

The Soyuz will carry two main satellites, Ionosphere-M No. 3 and No. 4, along with 18 smaller payloads as part of a multi-satellite mission. This effort is part of Russia's mission to deploy various scientific and commercial satellites into orbit.

The rocket was prepared on Launch Pad 1-S as of July 22. Logos from Iran's Space Agency and the Iranian Space Research Center are displayed on the rocket. Details on the smaller satellites and their origins have not been disclosed.
