I have to say, I do find it fascinating how zealous many people here are about their beliefs no matter the amount of evidence, or should I say lack of evidence?
It truly is like if we live in different realities, and I don’t say that jokingly. We have opposing views about what’s good and what’s evil, and most people here have distorted views of what the opposing side believes. It’s really amazing how cognitive dissonance works. I sit here in awe when I read what many people here believe to be The Truth. And when faced with facts, then they just twist the conspiracy in another direction that fits their world view. No matter what, they won’t accept facts that differ from their core beliefs. It’s amazing and it makes me wonder about Humanity. It makes me think that we might never be united in a world without wars or conflict. Reality truly depends on the observer I guess.
