House Judiciary Committee refers John Brennan to DOJ for prosecution

The House Judiciary Committee has referred former CIA Director John Brennan to the Justice Department for potential criminal charges. The allegations claim Brennan "knowingly made false statements" to Congress regarding his involvement in the Russia collusion narrative.

Chair Jim Jordan stated that Brennan made numerous false statements contradicted by the CIA's records.

Brennan had previously denied CIA involvement with the Steele dossier, while the report revealed he overrode objections from CIA officials to include the dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment.

Jordan emphasized that "Brennan’s assertion that the CIA was not ‘involved at all’ with the Steele dossier cannot be reconciled with the facts."
