History
Futurebytes GmbH & Co. KG has been operating the Disclose.tv website for over 10 years. Until 2021, Disclose.tv’s website was similar to the popular discussion forum Reddit.
Disclose.tv’s old discussion website allowed registered users to submit posts and discuss topics in various categories, such as politics, technology, science, society, and fringe topics.
Fringe topics such as UFOs [1], conspiracies [2], and paranormal phenomena [3] are deeply engrained in popular culture. These topics are generally discussed on Reddit [4] [5] [6] and elsewhere on the Internet. Moreover, they have also been covered in scores of blockbuster movies, featured documentaries, and television series for decades [7] [8] [9].
However, Disclose.tv realigned its focus to news aggregation by posting breaking news stories and snippets on its social media channels.
In just two years, Disclose.tv grew with a +900% increase to over 1,000,000 followers on Twitter and from 0 to nearly 450,000 subscribers on Telegram. Every day across all of its social media channels, millions of followers rely on Disclose.tv to bring them breaking news stories.
In the fall of 2021, Disclose.tv relaunched its website to reflect this operational transformation. The discussion forum and the Discord server were discontinued.
Today, Disclose.tv offers its website visitors the same experience they have when following its social media accounts: breaking, trending, and important news from around the world.
