Joe Biden undergoing radiation therapy as cancer care enters new phase

Former President Joe Biden is beginning a new treatment phase for his aggressive prostate cancer. He is undergoing radiation therapy for five weeks and hormone treatments, according to a spokesperson.

Previously, Biden had undergone Mohs surgery for skin cancer, with a visible bandage on his forehead afterward.

He was diagnosed in May with prostate cancer that has already spread to his bones. His office stated he is exploring multiple treatment options for effective management of the illness.

Biden, who turns 83 next month, is reported to be "doing well."
