Mossad director visits US for Iran talks: meets Witkoff in Miami

Barnea will meet with White House envoy Steve Witkoff in Miami. They discussed military plans, as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu advised Trump to delay strikes to allow Israel time to prepare for retaliation.

The U.S. is increasing military presence in the region, including deploying the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier. Meanwhile, Iran's foreign minister proposed resuming nuclear talks, which concerns Israeli officials. Witkoff indicated that a diplomatic solution is preferable, emphasizing that "the alternative will be a bad one."
