Hacker deletes 'white supremacist' websites live onstage during hacker conference

At the Chaos Communication Congress in Hamburg, Germany, a hacker using the pseudonym Martha Root remotely deleted three white supremacist websites in real time at the conclusion of their presentation.

The sites—WhiteDate, WhiteChild, and WhiteDeal—remain offline. Root, dressed as the Pink Ranger from Power Rangers, performed the takedown alongside journalists Eva Hoffmann and Christian Fuchs, who had previously reported on the platforms for Die Zeit in October.

WhiteDate was described by Hoffmann as a “Tinder for Nazis,” WhiteChild facilitated matches for sperm and egg donors among "white supremacists," and WhiteDeal operated as a racially oriented task and labor marketplace.

The site administrator confirmed the breach on social media, writing on X: “They publicly delete all my websites while the audience rejoices. This is cyberterrorism,” while promising retaliation.

They also alleged Root temporarily deleted their X account.

Root scraped and later published public data from WhiteDate, exposing over 6,500 user profiles containing names, photos with geolocation metadata, ages, precise coordinates, self-reported locations, genders, races, and descriptions. No emails, passwords, or private messages were included. The data revealed 86% male users and 14% female.

Root mocked the security lapses, stating:

“Imagine calling yourselves the ‘master race’ but forgetting to secure your own website — maybe try mastering to host WordPress before world domination.”

Access was gained through AI chatbots that evaded verification and passed as “white.”

The nonprofit DDoSecrets has since received the full 100-gigabyte dataset, dubbed “WhiteLeaks,” and is making it available only to verified journalists and researchers upon request. The administrator did not respond to comment requests. Root, Hoffmann, and Fuchs claim the operator is a woman from Germany, though this has not been independently verified.
