Hyatt's Pritzker resigns, cites Epstein association

Tom Pritzker, Executive Chairman of Hyatt Hotels, is retiring and will not seek reelection to the board due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein. He stated, "Good stewardship also means protecting Hyatt" and expressed regret for his past connections. Mark Hoplamazian, the current president and CEO of Hyatt, will replace him as chairman.

Pritzker, who has held his position since 2004, acknowledged his poor judgment in maintaining ties with Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, condemning their actions. He emphasized Hyatt's resilience and confidence in its future.

Pritzker joins other public figures facing scrutiny for ties to Epstein as newly released documents reveal relationships and communications with him.
