FBI schedules interviews with 6 lawmakers who urged military members to refuse 'illegal orders'

The FBI and Department of Justice are scheduling interviews with six Congress members related to a controversial video urging service members to ignore illegal orders. The lawmakers, including Senators Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly, stated, "Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders."

President Trump condemned the video, suggesting the lawmakers face arrest for "seditious behavior."

The Department of War has opened a review of allegations against Kelly, who may face court-martial as a retired Navy captain. Other lawmakers, while former military, are not subject to military law. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth noted the video’s significance to the military.
