Trump to sell $10 billion in weapons to NATO for transfer to Ukraine

The US is set to sell around $10 billion in weapons to NATO allies to support Ukraine. This deal includes missiles, air defense systems, and artillery shells. The aim is to ship these to Ukraine as part of military assistance amid ongoing conflict with Russia.

Donald Trump stated that NATO countries will finance the weapons' costs. Some countries may transfer their existing arms to Ukraine while purchasing replacements from the US.

The "first wave" of supplies, ultimately destined for Ukraine, include missiles, air defense systems, and artillery shells. In addition, Trump also announced that the U.S. will place a 100% tariff on Russia if a deal cannot be made in 50 days. This initiative marks a significant stage in military cooperation for Ukraine’s defense needs against Russia.
