NATO prepares plan for huge casualties in case of war with Russia

NATO is planning for a significant number of casualties in potential conflicts with Russia. Lieutenant-General Alexander Sollfrank revealed that the organization is developing mass evacuation and medical support strategies for wounded troops. He noted that unlike previous conflicts, a war with Russia could lead to heavy losses across vast battlefields, making traditional air evacuations too risky.

Sollfrank emphasized the need for a transportation network using specialized trains due to the threat from Russian air defenses. Germany's military predicts a possible Russian attack on NATO by 2029. In response, NATO is enhancing its defensive capabilities and conducting extensive military exercises involving tens of thousands of troops.
