Trump weighs less aggressive approach in Minneapolis

Homan aims to "recalibrate tactics" and enhance collaboration with local officials, a source with ties to the White House said.

"The goal is to scale back, eventually pull out," the source added.

Governor Tim Walz expressed the need for impartial investigations and reducing the federal agent presence. Homan is set to discuss these issues further with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. The administration is also considering body cameras for immigration officers.
