Trump orders DHS to stay away from protests in Democratic-led cities

This announcement follows widespread protests in Minneapolis demanding the removal of federal immigration agencies. The Trump administration had deployed 3,000 federal officers in that area, leading to confrontations with protesters. Trump has previously sent federal personnel to several Democratic-controlled cities, asserting it is necessary to enforce immigration laws and manage crime, a claim local leaders dispute.
