PayPal to roll out 'Pay With Crypto' feature for merchants

PayPal will soon let businesses accept over one hundred cryptocurrencies at checkout, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether’s USDT, and Circle’s USDC. This feature, launching in the coming weeks, will automatically convert crypto payments into fiat or PayPal’s PYUSD stablecoin for merchants.

According to Frank Keller, PayPal's general manager, this move aims to connect small businesses to the growing crypto market of 650 million users. Transaction fees will be low at 0.99%, with instant settlements, surpassing traditional methods that can take days.

Keller emphasized the increasing consumer interest in crypto and reiterated PayPal's commitment to integrating digital assets into its platform.
