Xbow secures $117 million in funding
XBOW has secured $75 million in Series B funding to enhance its AI-driven offensive security platform. The funding round, led by Altimeter’s Agrawal, and existing investors Sequoia Capital and Nat Friedman brings total investment to $117 million.
Founded by Oege de Moor, XBOW's platform continuously tests applications for vulnerabilities, utilizing AI to identify weaknesses without manual intervention. This year, XBOW's AI made history by topping HackerOne’s leaderboard, marking the first instance of a machine outperforming human hackers on the platform.
“Many of us have worked at the highest levels of offensive security... defenders must meet them with even more capable systems,” said CEO Oege de Moor. With the new capital, XBOW aims to expand its team and reach more clients.
