FBI arrests 4 accused of plotting New Year's Eve bombings

Federal authorities disrupted a terrorist threat by arresting four members of a radical pro-Palestinian group accused of planning New Year's Eve bombings in Los Angeles.

The FBI reported that the suspects, linked to the Turtle Island Liberation Front, were preparing to use improvised explosive devices at five locations. They were caught in Lucerne Valley while testing explosives.

A fifth individual associated with the group was arrested in New Orleans for a separate plot. Attorney General Pam Bondi emphasized the successful collaborative effort of the Justice Department and the FBI to thwart these threats.
