Nvidia becomes first company to be worth $4 trillion

Nvidia has become the first company valued at $4 trillion following a 2.5% rise in its shares. This surpasses Apple's previous record of $3.9 trillion. The company's stock has soared over 70% since April, fueled by strong demand for AI infrastructure.

CEO Jensen Huang stated, “Global demand for Nvidia’s AI infrastructure is incredibly strong.” Nvidia reported a 70% increase in revenue in Q1 2025, reaching over $44 billion, with expectations of another $45 billion in the next quarter.

Despite facing challenges from U.S. export restrictions to China, Nvidia remains ahead in the tech sector, overshadowing rivals like Apple and Amazon.
