Mother identifies woman shot and killed by ICE agent in Minneapolis

A 37-year-old woman, Renee Nicole Good, was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis during a confrontation with federal agents and protesters. DHS reports that agents were conducting operations when protesters tried to block their vehicles. As Good attempted to reverse and then accelerate forward, an agent fired multiple rounds into her car, claiming to act defensively.

Mayor Jacob Frey demanded ICE remove its presence, expressing his condolences to Good's family. He disputed the official narrative provided by Homeland Security. Witnesses reported agents ordered Good out of the vehicle prior to the shooting. Both Frey and Governor Tim Walz urged for calm in the community.
