Caltech astrophysicist fatally shot on porch of his rural SoCal home

Carl Grillmair, a prominent Caltech astrophysicist, was shot and killed at his home in Llano, Antelope Valley. A suspect, identified as 29-year-old Freddy Snyder, has been charged with his murder.
