Thailand launches air strikes along disputed border area with Cambodia

Thailand has initiated air strikes along its border with Cambodia, according to Major General Winthai Suvaree. This escalation follows accusations from both nations of violating a ceasefire. The ongoing border dispute previously led to a five-day conflict in July.

A ceasefire agreement was achieved with the intervention of US President Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Trump oversaw an expanded ceasefire agreement signed in Kuala Lumpur in October. The situation remains fluid as tensions persist in the region.
