A new HBO documentary claims to reveal the identity of Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi's identity is a lasting mystery. They vanished in 2010 after warning WikiLeaks about Bitcoin's vulnerabilities. Past contenders for the title have included Dorian Nakamoto and Craig Wright, the latter was ruled not to be Satoshi by a British court.

Many believe attempts to uncover Satoshi's identity should be respected as speculative unless concrete proof emerges, like signing private keys associated with known wallets.
