Iraq halts crude oil shipments via key pipeline to Turkish port

SUMMARY

Iraq has stopped oil exports from the Kurdistan region to Turkey's Ceyhan port. This halt affects approximately 200,000 barrels a day as producers cut output due to rising conflict in the Middle East. Currently, only 50,000 barrels each day are being produced for local use. The energy infrastructure in northern Kurdistan has faced attacks during past unrest, raising concerns over stability.
