House panel votes to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton over Ghislaine Maxwell connections

A House Oversight panel voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton regarding their connections to Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of sex trafficking. Rep. Scott Perry introduced the motion, and it was approved without a roll call. The subpoenas aim to further investigate Maxwell's case.

Chairman James Comer will issue the subpoenas for testimony and documents. A spokesperson stated, “Subpoenas will be issued in the future." Bill Clinton previously acknowledged flying on Epstein's private plane, stating, “I wish I had never met him.” The subcommittee also subpoenaed the Justice Department for communications related to the Epstein case.

Maxwell is set for deposition on August 11.
