Judge rejects Justice Department's attempt to bring charges against Don Lemon

A federal magistrate judge dismissed the Justice Department's attempt to charge Don Lemon for his involvement in an anti-ICE mob at a Minnesota church. The Attorney General is reportedly "enraged at the magistrate judge’s decision."

Lemon participated in the protest turned mob against Immigration and Customs Enforcement but claims he acted as a journalist, stating, “I’m just here photographing, I’m not part of the group… I’m a journalist.”

Two individuals involved in the protest turned mob have been arrested. The Justice Department may attempt to bring charges against Lemon again in the future.
