Illegal alien hit law enforcement in California, agent opens fire

A federal agent in southern California opened fire after a criminal illegal immigrant, William Eduardo Moran Carballo, attempted to evade arrest by ramming his vehicle into law enforcement officers. The incident occurred during a targeted operation in Compton, where Carballo faced charges related to human smuggling and prior arrests for domestic violence.

Despite the agent firing defensive shots, Carballo managed to escape on foot but was ultimately apprehended. Although he was uninjured, a Customs and Border Protection officer sustained injuries. The DHS noted an alarming rise in vehicle attacks on officers, citing a 3,200% increase.
