Charlie Kirk assassination investigation widens

The investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk has expanded to include pro-trans and online groups potentially linked to the shooter, Tyler Robinson. Authorities are examining if these groups had prior knowledge of the attack or contributed to it.

The probe involves various online communities, including Steam, and a local organization, Armed Queers SLC. Unconfirmed social media posts suggest that some individuals may have foreseen the attack.

Kirk, known for his criticism of gender issues, was shot during a public event. Investigators are also looking into Robinson's relationship with his transgender partner as a possible motive.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox noted Robinson's radicalization through extreme political views.
