Charlie Kirk wrote of his 'deep love' for Israel in a letter to Netanyahu

Charlie Kirk, assassinated Turning Point USA leader, wrote to Netanyahu on May 2, warning of “anti-Israel and anti-Semitic trends” surging on social media. “Everything written here is from a place of deep love for Israel and the Jewish people,” Kirk stated, urging a “communications intervention.”

He faced campus accusations like “Israel is an apartheid state” and “Israel and Jews are responsible for 9/11,” often defending Israel more than Netanyahu’s team. Kirk proposed an X-based rapid response team and an “Israel Truth Network” to counter misinformation.

Kirk criticized Israel’s outdated communication, likening an IDF spokesman’s style to “1970’s” news clips. He pushed for young, first-person voices to showcase Israel’s diversity and Gaza hostage tours to highlight Hamas’s use of human shields.

Kirk warned, “When you don’t push back, antisemitism and anti-Israel propaganda fill the void.” His strategies aimed to preserve U.S. support. His accused killer, Tyler Robinson, faces aggravated murder charges, with a hearing scheduled for October 30.
