Harry's phone hacking case against the Daily Mail is dismissed in full

A £50 million phone hacking case led by Prince Harry and several celebrities against the Daily Mail was dismissed completely. The High Court found that all articles in question were lawfully sourced. Justice Nicklin noted that witnesses from the publisher provided lawful explanations regarding article sourcing.

The judge stated, "The more serious and less likely an allegation is, the more convincing the evidence must be before a court can find it proved."

An Associated Newspapers spokesperson welcomed the ruling as a significant victory for press freedom, emphasizing the absence of credible evidence supporting the claimants' severe allegations. They also highlighted that this case wasted court resources and costs.
