Graham Linehan arrested by five armed police officers for trans tweets

Graham Linehan was arrested by five armed police officers at Heathrow airport for gender-critical tweets. He claims he was treated like a terrorist, writing that "the stress of being arrested for jokes was literally threatening my life."

After his arrest, Linehan was taken to a police station and later to a hospital due to high blood pressure. He was released with a bail condition preventing him from posting on social media. Linehan argues that the UK is "hostile to freedom of speech" and too accommodating to violent activists.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest was connected to posts on X, but stated his health condition was not life-threatening.
