Iran is preparing missiles for potential retaliatory strikes on US bases

Iran has prepared missiles and military equipment for strikes on U.S. bases in the Middle East if the U.S. joins Israel's conflict against it. The U.S. has deployed around 36 refueling aircraft to Europe to support bases and extend the range of bombers for potential strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

American officials fear a wider war as Israel seeks U.S. intervention. They predict that if strikes occur on key facilities, Iranian-backed militias will resume attacks on ships in the Red Sea and target U.S. bases in Iraq and Syria. Iran has also threatened to mine the Strait of Hormuz.
