Andrew is stripped of his prince title and his home

Prince Andrew has been officially stripped of his royal titles and his residence at Royal Lodge. He will now be referred to as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Buckingham Palace released a statement indicating that "these censures are deemed necessary" amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has lived at Royal Lodge for over 20 years, but he must now find alternative private accommodation.

Despite his denials of wrongdoing, the King is moving to revoke Andrew's Dukedom of York. While Andrew lost his titles, his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, retain theirs. The stripping of titles comes after Andrew's behavior surrounding the Epstein scandal came under increasing scrutiny.
