China releases video testimony of former Unit 731 member

SUMMARY

A former member of Japan's Unit 731, Masakuni Kurumizawa, detailed his involvement in human experiments during World War II in an 83-minute video. Released by the Exhibition Hall of Evidences of Crimes Committed by Unit 731, the testimony coincided with the anniversary of the Lugou Bridge Incident.

He confessed to dissecting 300 human bodies and developing biological weapons from bacteria causing diseases like cholera and anthrax, using live subjects, including prisoners of war.
