Ukraine plan to 'go offensive' is on agenda of Trump-Zelenskyy meeting

SUMMARY

U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss military support, including Tomahawk missiles. Trump stated, "They want to go offensive," regarding Ukraine's military strategy.

The leaders will also address air defense systems in their talks. Ukraine aims to secure advanced weaponry to launch a counteroffensive against Russia. While Kyiv has mainly defended its territory, minor counteroffensive operations have regained some ground. However, Russia continues to advance in certain regions, incurring significant losses.
