Iranian mothership launching drones offshore US, congressman says

Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey claimed that mysterious drones seen over the state are possibly from Iran and launched by a mothership off the East Coast. He stated, “These drones should be shot down,” highlighting that the military is on high alert. Van Drew did not disclose his sources but asserted, “I’m going to tell you the real deal. Iran launched a mothership.”

Despite these claims, officials maintain the drones pose no threat, though the FBI is unsure how to address them. The drones have been spotted frequently, often flying in formation, prompting various theories about their origins.
