Russian oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia halted after Ukrainian attack

Russian crude oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline were halted, with Hungary attributing the disruption to a Ukrainian attack on the network. Ukraine has intensified strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, crucial for funding Russia's war.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha did not confirm the attack but suggested Hungary could direct complaints to Russia, with the Hungarian PM responding on X:

Hungarian officials stated that restoration efforts are underway, but it's unclear when deliveries will resume. Slovak operator Transpetrol noted they were unaware of the suspension's cause, while MOL assured that regional oil supply remains secure.
