New emails reveal that the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence held regular meetings with Dr. Ralph Baric, a prominent coronavirus expert, since 2015. Senator Rand Paul's office sought these documents for years. Baric has been accused of engineering COVID-19 in his lab but has not testified about his collaboration with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

These emails suggest that the CIA aimed to discuss "Coronavirus evolution and possible natural human adaptation" with Baric since 2015, years before the pandemic outbreak.

The implications point towards a role by the U.S. Intelligence Community in the pandemic's origins. Investigations and testimonies regarding gain-of-function research and the Wuhan lab cover-up are urgently needed.
