South Korea reports North Korea launched missiles into its eastern waters

North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles into its eastern sea, escalating regional tensions. South Korea's military reported multiple launches from Wonsan between 8:10 and 9:20 a.m., with the farthest missile traveling about 800 kilometers.
