ChatGPT offers users a personalized daily briefing

OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Pulse, a feature for select paid users that delivers personalized daily updates based on previous conversations.

Users will receive 5 to 10 visual cards with relevant news and suggestions, such as upcoming NASA rocket launches or family Halloween costume ideas. The feature also takes user preferences into account and can access Gmail and Google Calendar if connected.

ChatGPT Pulse aims to integrate the chatbot into daily life and encourage comfort with AI. Adam Fry, product lead for proactive experiences, stated, “We wanted to be really intentional about not taking people's time but really getting out of the way.”

Initially available for ChatGPT Pro subscribers, wider access is planned for later this year.
