Trump to host meme-coin conference at Mar-a-Lago
President Trump will personally host a meme-coin conference at his private Mar-a-Lago resort on April 25, 2026.
The event is organized for the biggest investors in the $TRUMP memecoin. Bill Zanker, Trump’s long-time business partner behind the token, is leading the gathering. Trump is listed as a featured guest.
This marks the second such meme-coin event tied to Trump. The first took place last year at one of his Virginia golf courses.
Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff and Richard Blumenthal sent a letter to Zanker demanding details. They noted that organizers are promoting the conference by dangling access to the president. This approach encourages purchases of the $TRUMP memecoin, which generate transaction fees for Trump and his family.
Questions remain whether Trump will actually attend. The April 25 date conflicts with the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which he has already committed to.
The planned Mar-a-Lago conference directly inserts the sitting president into the center of the highly speculative meme-coin market. It occurs as Congress debates major cryptocurrency market structure legislation that could reshape how digital assets trade in the United States.
